What is MicroEscape?

MicroEscape is an offline-first micro-entertainment app for short, interruptible breaks at work. Open the app and you instantly get a simple card (riddles, micro stories, puzzles) with no account, no feed, and no history.

How do I hide the screen quickly (Boss Mode / Privacy Shield)?

• Tap the Hide button (Boss Mode) in the app.
• Or long-press the top bar to hide instantly.
• When the app goes to the background (app switcher), it automatically shows the privacy shield.

How does the timer work?

• Tap Start to begin a short session.
• When time ends, the app hides content automatically.
• You can tap End any time to stop immediately.

Does MicroEscape work offline?

Yes. The app is designed to be usable offline. Optional content updates can be enabled manually.

How do I update offline content packs?

• Open Settings in the app.
• Enable Wi‑Fi only content updates (optional).
• Tap Update now.

If you see an update error, please confirm you are connected to Wi‑Fi and try again.

I purchased Pro but it still shows locked. What should I do?

• Open Settings → Pro.
• Tap Restore purchases.
• If it still doesn’t unlock, please contact support with your device model and iOS version.

Does the app store usage history or track me?

MicroEscape is designed to minimize data by default. It does not require an account and does not store usage history as a feature.
